The Southern Maryland Telework Centers are equipped with everything necessary in a professional office environment. 

Each center is complete with the following: 

Furnishings: 
- Modular workstations
- Lockable personal storage for each workstation

- Networked Pentium  personal computers with 256MB-1GB  RAM
- 20-80GB hard drive
- *17" flat panel color monitor w/usb
- *Keyboards with integrated smart card reader
- *32X DVD/CDRW drive
The centers also support company or agency provided laptops and other equipment.

- Windows XP Professional
- Microsoft Office 2003
- McAfee Anti-Virus
- Netscape Navigator and Internet Explorer (w/128-bit encryption)
- Adobe Acrobat Reader
Client-provided software installed upon request

Data communications: 
Remote access communication with agency networks is provided using internal 56k modems with individual analog telephone lines and/or T-1 carrier availability (Internet).

Telephones:
- Individual voice lines with private voice mail

Conference Room:
- Conference rooms are available for use by teleworkers  

Free Parking:
- Free parking right outside the front door of each center
